Putin is eagerly waiting for the right opportunity to send troops to Belarus to restore “peace” and prevent the overthrow of the current government.
Although Loekasjenko doesn’t want to, he had no other choice than to call Putin for help. Putin was happy to prepare the necessary troops to crush the resistance. In doing so Loekasjenko practically handed Putin the keys of the country. The Russian Prime Minister Misjoestin was in Belarus this week to discuss further integration into the Russian Federation. Putin has been pushing Loekasjenko to sign the deal to integrate Belarus into the Russian Federation. This means that Putin can remain in power after 2024 by becoming the president of this Federation.
