The tensions between Greece and Turkey are caused by the fact that the Greek part of Cyprus has found natural gas fields in the Mediterranean. According to the UN sea laws Cyprus can drill as far as 200 miles from it’s coastline. Turkey claims most of the area as it’s own and will start to drill in a few weeks in the seawaters that are legally part of Cyprus. France is backing Greece and has already send planes and ships to the region. The US has started to train Cypriot soldiers. Will Ankara push it to war or will the back down? The bible tells us that Turkey will go to war. So lets keep an eye on this situation…
