Israel now becomes an important global player on the gas providing market. Russia doesn’t like Israel taking a significant part of the gas market in Europe. The current trading embargo was already hurting the Russian economy and on top of that is the corona virus creating some additional economic and social problems. In other words, the pressure keeps rising in Russia. What will Putin’s next move be?
