Rapture Dream
First of all, what is a Rapture Dream? For those reading this and not knowing what it is all about: Christians all over the world are waiting for and expecting the soon rapture of the church. To be raptured means that in a short moment in time your body is transformed into a new heavenly body and at the same time taken up on the clouds to meet Jesus Christ. Then Jesus takes His bride in to heaven for a period of seven years after witch He will return to earth to rule as King. The church, meaning all reborn christians all over the world, has been waiting for this for almost 2000 years. God has used dreams since the beginning of times to fulfill His purpose. Famous examples are the dreams of Pharaoh and Nebukadnezar, but also Daniel the prophet and Joseph and many others have had divine dreams and visions.
For years there has been this urgency within the Christian community, the birth pangs pointing to the soon rapture of the church are increasing in both intensity and frequency. These birth pangs are accompanied with a lot of followers of Jesus having dreams about the rapture or the End Times. What makes this so special is that many of these dreamers are posting their stories about these vivid and very special dreams online, mostly on YouTube. A quick research will show you that the number of people posting about these dreams online is increasing rapidly. In the comment sections of these postings a number of replies also contain stories of rapture dreams.
It is obvious that God is revealing to His people what He is about to do. The main theme in these dreams is “to get ready”, to make sure one is not left behind. One person spoke clearly about “repenting of sin”, another said that many will be left behind because of the lukewarmness of many christians. Although I personally believe that many of these dreams are messages from God, a number of them will be false and maybe the result of a desire to be in the picture or to get a lot of views. Don’t let this keep you from listening to what God is telling us through brothers and sisters.
Joel 2 v 28: And it will be that, afterwards, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams and your young men will see visions. Even on the menservants and maidservants in those days I will pour out My Spirit.
