2021 and a Warning to all Christians.

Bible

In the Bible, in the 2nd letter of Paul to Timothy 4:3, we read the following: “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.”
I think this verse is talking about christians and non-christians alike, who have lost God’s way and are following their own desires. Paul writes this prophecy in his second letter to his good friend Timothy and today we can see it being fulfilled!
The internet provides us with a lot of Bible teachers with even more teachings. Many teachers are looking for as much followers as they can reach, because they all want to have a successful online ministry. To be popular often means to give the viewers what they want to hear. This results in teachings that are filled with sensational claims, like dreams and visions “from the Lord” or promises of prosperity. As christians it is sometimes difficult to research all this information in the Bible and we are at risk of getting caught in the enthusiasm of others.
I want to encourage you to stay close to Gods Word and warn you to be very careful when someone declares to have received a vision or dream from God. Let’s focus on His kingdom and not on our worldly goods. Do not fill your time with gathering money and other material stuff like cars, gadgets or clothes. These things are not evil in themselves, but if your focus is on the things of this world, they become the gods of your life! Pray everyday that His will for your life will become clear, He will bless you with everything you need, in His time.

May the Lord keep you save and fill you with His loving Holy Spirit.
May you be a light for His kingdom to the world. Jesus, we pray, come quickly!
PS: If you need prayer, let us know. We will pray for you.
